October 27, 2009

Apparently my game is so incredibly awesome and promising that it deserves its own blog. I know, I know! I had the exact same reaction when I found out.

    @BttP
    I like answering here so people can follow the conversation.

    The models you see were purchased from artists who use software like Cinema4D, 3ds Max, etc. The “game engine” used to render the scene/animate characters, detect collisions, and move things around in a physically realistic way (boxes bouncing, vehicles driving, characters jumping) is my own software that I’m still developing. Once the engine is complete I can focus more on gameplay mechanics and Dead Shift will start looking more like a game. ;)
