@seb
Your game looks awesome, esp the houses. ;)

I wish I could say Dead Shift has been moving along as fast, but we're stuck right now setting up a mini motion capture studio in our apartment. If all goes well I'll be set for animation.

@pignaccia
Well, "might" is the operative word there... I'm not sure if we're going to go quite that far, hopefully we won't have to. There's always the ancient Prince of Persia technique of rotoscoping: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAjRNU3DbSY

I think I'm going to try doing the animation myself, we might setup a mini motion capture studio in our apartment. ;)

@Tim
Right now I'm cutting most animations from Animeeple's marketplace (you can search within the app), but I do have a few free packs I've found, like the collections Carnegie Mellon University offers...

I enjoyed the previous animations so just updating the engine they ran on would be awesome on its own, wish I could actually offer some artistic contribution but I haven't quite had the joy of rigging and importing thousands of entities
I've decided to limit myself to the equivalent of the half life orange box plan
Remind me in the future where you're getting your mocap data, anything cheap and accessible (I would think not)
